Dr. Breanna Young

Dr. Breanna Young is a wife, mother, teacher, entrepreneur, speaker and coach that fully understands the importance of serving the whole child. She worked as a public educator for 13 years and can tell you, first hand, the traditional school system is not properly equipped to serve the needs of all of our children.  In addition to her teaching credentials, Breanna has a Masters Degree in Education and a Reading Literacy Specialist Credential in which she served as an Intervention Specialist.  After leaving the school system, she furthered her education earning a Masters Degree in Christian Counseling, a TH.D in Christian Coaching and currently serves her community through Life and Education Coaching and Consulting. She’s passionate about serving the alternative education community, building firm foundations within the family unit, breaking strongholds and assisting others as they live the life for which they were designed. 

Breanna believes children are a special gift and there’s no greater investment than your family.  She and her husband have been married for 10 years and are a blended family of 6! Breanna has a heart for creating resources that promote family connection, building community, and providing parents with the support and tools to not just grow, but thrive!    

Stephanie Sheffield

Stephanie Sheffield is a wife, mother, teacher, counselor and passionate community leader. She currently lives in California, but was born and raised in Okinawa, Japan. Her educational background includes a B.A. from Washington State University, a J.D. from Thomas Jefferson School of Law in San Diego, and a Master’s degree in Academic Advising from Kansas State University. She is also a trained lay counselor. Stephanie has been married for almost 15 years, and has three daughters. She loves serving and being active in her community and has been a member of the Junior League since 2014. Stephanie serves in a variety of leadership positions at her church, and also served on the School Site Council and the District Advisory Council when her children attended public school. She is also on the Board of her daughters’ swim team and fosters kittens for the local animal shelter.

Stephanie has a heart to help empower and equip families to steadfastly pursue the calling that’s been put on their lives. Through Marigold, she wants to assist families as they grow in community and help parents to fully embrace the truth and freedom they’ve been given to steward the lives of their children.

Debbie Hall

Debbie Hall is a wife, mother, teacher, and loving mentor. She’s been married for 21 years and raised two grown children with her husband. Debbie has been serving families for over 25 years and experienced education through private, public, charter and homeschool lenses. She and her husband have an intimate understanding of the challenges and blessings which often accompany adoption and the necessity for freedom when it comes to providing an educational design that’s well suited. Debbie believes that parents are the ultimate educators of their children. She sees the direction that traditional education is headed and has the desire to walk with families through the process of educating their children in freedom while establishing a firm foundation in Truth. She understands the educational challenges parents are facing today and is passionate about assisting families as they navigate difficult transitions.

In addition to Debbie’s Multiple Subject credential, she also holds a Masters of Education in Curriculum and Instruction with an emphasis in Trauma and Resilience, an English Supplemental Credential and is a certified life coach. Debbie enjoys serving her community and is an active member of the worship and Childrens' Ministry teams in her church.
